The study of mathematics is mandatory from Kindergarten to Year 10.
By studying mathematics, students learn to work mathematically – developing fluency, understanding, problem-solving, reasoning and communication skills.

We the students and staff of Port Kembla Public School acknowledge the Wadi Wadi people Five Islands Dreaming, traditional custodians of all the land of the Illawarra area. We are lucky our school is located in the sacred heartland of Wadi Wadi country with the Five Islands and Hill 60 in clear view.
