During week 9 & 10 of this term (26 March -5 April) Port Kembla Public School will be conducting student progress interviews. Previously, interviews have generally involved a discussion just between parents and teachers however this year the students are also asked to take on a role in a 3-way interview process.
3-way interviews are designed to help students take greater ownership of their learning. It is a time for your child to share his/her strengths and achievements, discuss ways in which to help him/her at home and set goals together for future learning.

We the students and staff of Port Kembla Public School acknowledge the Wadi Wadi people Five Islands Dreaming, traditional custodians of all the land of the Illawarra area. We pay respect to Wadi Wadi Elders past and present as they hold the customs, traditions and memories of culture and the hope of all Australians. The school values of respect, responsibility and resilience reflect the values of the Wadi Wadi people. We are lucky our school is located in the sacred heartland of Wadi Wadi country with the Five Islands and Hill 60 in clear view.
